This is going to be rough for a few episodes as the new voice actor is just a little off. I really enjoy the show; interested to see how it goes with one of the creative leads gone. Here's a comparison video of the old and new voices.

it’s a bummer because the voices are such a big part of the show

but I feel like i’ll get used to it after an episode or two.

Honestly that seems similar enough that I won’t even notice. It’ll be nuanced pauses and comedic timing that could be a bit different though. We’ll see.

Worst part of this show so far for me has been how short the seasons are compared with other series. What we do in the Shadows also has criminally short seasons.

Quality > Quantity.

The Brits understand and don't spread the writing too thin, meanwhile we just pump out seasons half full of lazy episodes that don't push the plot just to sell commercials.

Maybe, but sometimes I watch old shows and think man how did we slog through 24-26 episodes per season.

I really miss when shows had 20
episodes and came out every year.

That's too much. Takes forever to get though them.

Now that you mention it, I think I was watching crap shows.

I'm honestly surprised at how close the new voices are

I thought the show was dead immediately when Roiland was fired

It’s similar. But part of what makes the old Rick voice so distinctive is the inflection in the voice……

Hope new guy is still working on it.

Not sure who actually ended up doing the new voice, but at one point this guy had a lot of fan support:

ooooh I'm TRYIN'! (TikTok)
