So in for a bigger world of shite. First off the trailer starts off great with the first face being shown having a Covid face mask and wearing it outdoors per the science. At least they filmed the butchering of my beautiful property safely. Hopefully they were wearing condoms as well, but moving on to the actual words of the show creators:
Oh is that the excuse that the Tolkien Estate charged you way more for the First Age and you could have adapted that properly over the 40 year War of Wrath, and therefore went with the Second Age that has way less going on for it?
Hey, ummmmm, I think we’ve seen that in perhaps the most famous prologue in cinematic history. So yes, it’s been told. I’m cool with that 4 minute interpretation.
And now onto Galadriel’s actress:
Did she though?
And back to the creators:
Oh frick off with using buzzwords that would not be relevant for another 4,000 years trying to manipulate the fans and idiots dumb enough to fall for that.
And to the actor of Gil-Galad:
Is it? Although I will give a bit of rare casting praise since that actor is how I imagined Gil-Galad roughly, so congrats on at least casting someone well.
And the Oath of Fëanor is so anticlimactic from how it was described in the Silmarillion. This is what it should look like:
And now onto Bronwyn (whoever the frick that’s supposed to be) comments:
Then tell that to at least three of your costars that were explicit that they’re directly trying to destroy Tolkien’s legacy.
And I don’t like that. Lord of the Rings is supposed to be more mesmerizing than shocking, and I don’t like things that are different. The only things that should truly be shocking is through the themes.
And now for some for character videos that all look like shite and more character images: Twitter
Oh my God… they managed to finally not frick something up. That looks like Gil-Galad as described by Tolkien. Holy shite, they fricked up everything else finally got at least one thing right. So maybe this will be one step above the Last Airbender which got literally nothing right. Bottom of the barrel here.
This looks like a Woke high school drama class putting this on and building everything from scratch. Everyone and everything on this show looks like shite except Gil-Galad

And now onto Galadriel’s actress:

Galadriel has been on a quest for over a thousand years scouring Middle Earth for searching for this elusive undiscovered evil.

From the beginning we knew that she couldn’t do this alone. Every quest needs a Fellowship.

The costumes look even worse than the hobbit trilogy.
It looks like the clothes I'd see walking through San Francisco during a furry festival with some gay pride events.

Thinking it through, the only reason they didn’t frick Gil-Galad up is Jackson already briefly showed him in the trilogy:

Let this be a lesson to everyone. Everything you once loved and enjoyed will one way or another be ruined and destroyed by the left. It might not be today or tomorrow but it will happen year after year.

Oh frick off
At this point, this is what you need to do. You're going to watch the prologue and that's it. So you say. Just stfu with the show already. Everybody get's it, you don't approve. I'm sure I wont either, but give it a rest.

Who cares? Watch the show, then bitch. Or don't, and shut up.

The male dwarves look pretty solid, too. But yeah, everything else looks cheap and silly.

He looks fine for a Dwarf, but Durin though? Gimli, Thorin, and Dwalin all look way more imposing than him. Durin should be a sight to behold.
