They filmed 1-2 episodes daily in Ireland, so filming took about 4-5 days. I think they were able to film the final 3 episodes on the last day.

For each episode, they gave them a lunch/dinner break for a few hours and they got to go back to the hotel each night so many of them studied up on their categories. That's why you notice the final two episodes most of the contestants were much better than the first 20 or so duels.

I really liked this show. It could use a few tweaks. It seems unfair for one person to take on multiple challenges while one person can literally hand around and only win one or 2 challenges and win it all.

There should be a "save" option if a player wins a certain number of challenges. 5,6,7..whatever.

I would also add allowing the "attacker" to have a choice between their topic and the person they're attacking.

Reminds me of The Weakest Link, where the odds are stacked against the smartest players.

That - and those spectacularly weird-looking contestants - could make it tough to watch any future seasons.

I think he figured she had time to study international foods, but it was still the best choice for him IMO.

Yeah this had to be his thought process but we said the same thing when we watched, it’s just food, definitely had a better chance with that than fashion.


Agree that it kind of sucks that the best strategy is just to hide and avoid competing.

The one who won it all only won three duels right? She won the first two on the first night then never went again until the very last duel. Seems like there should maybe be a second prize for the contestant with the most duel wins overall. Would incentivize people to actually compete.


Also, holy shite the one hit wonder category had to be the hardest of the entire season. Think I only knew 3 or 4 in the whole category.

Would watch a second season.

That is the part I did not like. The way the game works, it was easy to see that someone who either had never been picked or someone who went back to the floor but was "landlocked" from the randomizer was going to just sit and wait until the end and win it all. Something needs to be done to prevent that.
