The exact 3 that came to mind for me.

Not that I have seen, nor will I ever see, house of the dragon.

Yep. Heard much praise there. And Serkis. But the drawback for Andor is that it’s slow & not ‘Star Wars’. Generic sci-fi , but that’s it. Guess it comes down to personal preference.

Yeah, tell me you didn't watch Andor without telling me you didn't watch Andor...

This is flatly untrue. It is very much Star Wars. In fact it explains and explores the central conflict behind Star Wars better than any project has.

If it’s on D+, (i know it is) then I didn’t watch. So that’s not the own you think it is.

But that is a consensus of those who have… I’d show evidence but you’re not interested in such things.

Try pulling up the Andor season thread instead of your YouTubers for actual evidence

I’d be interested in this evidence, considering both the critic and audience ratings are very high for Andor.

Most show threads have those who like the show and those who don’t, but we in the Andor thread were overwhelmingly positive about it. It was essentially a series of “how does this show keep getting better?” posts. I joined late to the showing, because Disney. But I was wrong, and so are you.

You own yourself enough for the both of us.

Just say "I didn't watch this show either and my entire worldview on these shows is based on how others tell me to think"

I don't even love Star Wars, could take or leave much of the films/shows, but other than Starship Troopers(which takes the satirical approach), it is the best deconstruction of military authoritarianism put to screen in the last 2 decades. And fleshes out the world of Star Wars Empire better than every film outside of the OG combined. Calling that generic or not Star Wars is a ridiculous statement and in no way can be supported by any honest accounting of the facts.

So another example of you critiquing a show without watching it. Got it.

He is just an NPC whose only dialogue options are Nerdrotic talking points.

How did I critique it? I honestly stated what others who did watch said.

Try to keep up.

I’m the only one of us two here who is acting in good faith.

ETA - you D+ simps want to give them the benefit of the doubt ? Go for it. How many more rematches for obi-wan & Darth? 3?4? When will Lil Leia outrun a landspeeder ?

all this mess.

So you don’t actually have any evidence that Andor sucks?

Dude, you are either high, delusional, or functionally retarded.

What color is the sky in your world?

Were you home schooled by simpletons?

Does the ratio of down votes to up votes on your ridiculous claims lend you even the slightest suggestion that you are wrong and Kaiju is on to something?

Of course not. He just regurgitates heavily slanted garbage from outrage leaches on YouTube.

Never said it did. Just that the bar at which current SW is now is so low, thanks to Disney, that an average Sci -fi show stamped with Star Wars is hailed as awesome.

Again, you haven't watched it, your entire POV is derived from blindly cribbing Nerdrotic's shitty grifter opinions as your own, meanwhile, the critical and audience consensus says it's not just above average, its straight up the second most acclaimed show of the year at the moment

Neck and neck with top honors with shows like Better Call Saul, Severence, and The Bear.

You sound like a ROP super fan.

* not only do I freely admit, I haven’t seen it, not having Disney+, I never claimed any views were my own. Yet you keep parroting that same garbage over and over. Hoping it’ll somehow stick. Stop while you are behind. It’s not just one Youtubers opinions, either, but a wide consensus of different views.

Some like it, most are in different, but many say that it doesn’t really feel like Star Wars. Which, considering under current Disney, isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
