If you want something really different, try out Electric Dreams on Prime. Its a sci-fi anthology series. 5 or 6 episodes, all very, very different.

Boy I give the writer so much credit for designing a cult that just makes you want to commit violence upon them.

Silent, stalking, chain-smoking, non-violent. Outrageous!

You can watch most of the new Disney Star Wars series by Disney. They can probably be considered horror.

When BOSCEAUX typically makes these posts, that is going to be the answer. He’s seen a lot and it’s difficult to recommend because he’s seen the best shows. Still good place for posters to hang up their best.

Some of the shows in these genres we have seen are The Expanse, Dark, 3 Body Problem, The 100, Dark, Silo,
If you liked Dark, check out 1899. I loved it.

I’m not into animation either, but I highly recommend Scavenger’s Reign. It simply couldn’t be done if it wasn’t animated.

I did also. Was hoping for more.

I appreciate all the recommendations. Me and the wife have seen a ton but I always find 2 or 3 new shows to try when I start these threads. This board is a great resource that always comes through. Finished the Bondsman. It was pretty good. Big time Supernatural vibes which is fine because I loved that show except a couple seasons. On Black Mirror now. Probably get Dark Matter after that.

ETA: the biggest downside to The Bondsman is Bacon’s awful southern accent. Show is supposed to take place in Georgia.

I was curious when you listed Dark twice if one was Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is interesting and worth the watch. It's a limited series, so not a lot of time investment.

Didn’t know it was a limited series. That’s cool. We like to throw those in when we have a lull in our staple shows.

Never mind me. I just looked it up and they renewed for a second season. I thought it was a one off or was promoted that way.

Also for everyone recommending the Leftovers I couldn’t agree more. International Assassin is one of the best episodes of TV ever.
