When you were in college did you know they were the good old days?

The only thing they didn't tie up was the Scranton strangler unless we are to assume it was Creed?
That was covered earlier this season when Toby visited him in jail. I think everybody was hoping for more of a twist, but that was it.

Great ending. Thought Michael's appearance was perfect.

Yea I was hoping for more of a twist with it. Oh well. Still very happy with everything being tied up. The writers did a wonderful job with this finale.

I haven't watched since Michael left but that was an amazing series finale. Reminded me so much of the Cheers finale. Glad Steve Carrell made an appearance. I also think people might be upset he didn't do much in the episode, but I am sure he didn't want to steal all of their thunder. He had his final show and didn't want to take the lights away from them.
That episode was damn near perfect.
What a legendary show.

quote:I agree. Just perfect. No BS cliffhangers. Everyone had their story lines wrapped up in a really satisfying way, which was the right thing to do since this was always a feel good show.
I appreciate that they tied up everything and done it in a pretty smart way.
An entire cast full of nobodies when the show started and they were given a chance. They turned it into brilliant tv.
Networks(NBC) can't even learn from their own successes. Instead we get year after year of the same old recycled actors starring in the same cop and/or hospital shows

and they snuck in probably the best "that's what she said" of the entire series.

Totally unnecessary for him to insert himself in there like that...
pretty sure it was all the producers and writers in that scene.

Been fun with the office

Earlier in the season when he visited the Scranton Strangler in jail thinking he was innocent

He visited him in the prison and they showed him on the ride home with the neck brace and he couldn't talk.

But this show I will really miss.

I thought this was supposed to be six months later but at the beginning it says one year later.
