I always leave out movies that were written in multiple parts, but I don’t know why. So I’ll say The Two Towers is up there. Aliens and Judgement Day for sure.

I should add Return to Oz is a better sequel. The Wizard of Oz is a classic children’s movie.
Return to Oz is a beautiful psychedelic nightmare.
And, it has one of my favorite fairytale tropes where maybe none of it ever even happened. Maybe Dorothy is just schizophrenic.
