It really fell off when the fired F Murray Abraham for being 80 and making dirty old man jokes, but I still enjoyed the show. Apparently, they are going to reshoot or re edit the final episode of Season 4 to put a bow on it.

I watched the latest season and think this is for the best. I enjoyed the show but it ran its course and was getting very repetitive towards the end.

You're not wrong, but the Covid episode is still one of the best episodes of TV I've seen in the past decade.

Mr. Quest?* What's that about?
*this is what Glenn Howerton called the show on him and Rob's podcast

Other than the testers, Poppy's character was the worst. She went from a relatively normal, albeit slightly neurotic, foil to Ian's narcissism to a batshit crazy parody.
My favorite character outside of CW was probably Carol. She was probably the most realistic character on the show. Just a tired of everyone's shite HR manager.

The four episodes of Side Quest were pretty good.

And with the 72 different streaming services, 75% of America has never heard of this show.
I knew it existed from the defunct ASIP podcast, but have never seen it. I don’t need another subscription. Maybe it will make its way to Netflix now?

I just started watching this show. First season was very good. It got really weird and dumb for a bit, but is still watchable. The lesbians are incredibly annoying and I wasn’t a big fan of the Covid episode like yall were. I think that’s just because I didn’t watch it when it came out. I don’t care to revisit that time period where people only communicated face to face through zoom.
The flashback episode was incredible.

The one off episodes in each season are also the best episodes of each season

Meh, we had Apple TV for free for a while with Verizon and barely watched it, I disagree that it’s “better.” They may have better quality stuff, but quantity isn’t there and not our cup of tea for the whole family.

it was probably going to lose steam either way. He wasn’t exactly the linchpin m, but I would say Covid killed it.

The new ending is up. It’s only the final Poppy/Ian scene of the episode so you don’t have to rewatch it all.

This and “Dark Quiet Death” are two of the best episodes to air in a single year for a series. GoT could make some arguments, but those were both peak.

A lot of Covid episodes were stupid and overdone/cliche but this one was really really well done. It was a snapshot in time. Most of the Covid episodes were just trying to play off the zoom and leave it at that but MQ actually showed the importance of human touch in a time where somebody like Poppy was genuinely afraid and alone.
I’m not the type to get that way, but I got teary eyed when he showed up just to hug her.
