I've heard good things about this movie. What's the premise? Is it a drama? Thriller? Worth a watch in your opinion?

Mud is a very well directed, well written southern Gothic indie.

Saw it on netflix a few years or so ago; I don't recall it being on cable rotation in a long while.
I enjoyed it when I watched it but I don't have a whole lot of interest to re-watch.

Is still so bizarre why they used that as the name of the chicken restaurant. I get it, you wanted KFC, but they pregnant wouldn't let you, but why not just make up a fake name that's not that on the nose stupid?

This the movie combined with Lincoln Lawyer that made MM legit
Then he put the cherry on top with Dallas buyers club, true detective etc
Before that he was rom com joke
