I need to go back and rewatch Yellowjackets. Wild that something from 2010 appeared when it takes place in 2021.
Bill Simmons used to be a massive Challenge fan and I bet he got a kick out of that. He was so happy on Twitter when on Rivals 2 CT said "I'm tired of being Dan Marino, I wanna be Tom Brady."

This is only Brad’s 2nd flagship season since season 33. I need old school San Diego Brad back. Look at the Miz
One huge miss for the challenge was never getting on the gorgeous Cameron from RW San Diego. That San Diego cast was a perfect as you could get.

She married a wealthy doctor then was one of the original stars of Southern Charm.

Damn. Probably better opportunity than the challenge.
Would make sense with her looks and good personality. What is southern charm? Like a housewives tv show?
That hilarious moment on RW San Diego when brad called an ex drunk at night to try and explain to cameron and others he was rocking a 8 and a half in inch penis. Television gold.

Not quite, but not far off.
Focused on rich socialites around Charleston.

I just went look up a picture of her from that show and she's still attractive. She must really love reality tv. She's doing much better than her cast mate Robyn
I can see how she wouldn't want to come on the challenge now with the likes of Turbo and such with your description of southern charm

Robin's doing much better now that she's clean.

Never having the Jersey Shore cast or Fat Gary from Teen Mom.

I agree somewhat .
I don't think when Jersey shore became a hit the challenge was trying to explore those options like mixing players outside of RW/RR. Looking back a coked up and steroid ronny and situation and trashy Sammi would have gotten Superbowl ratings.
who the frick is Fat Gary
Posted on 7/27/26 at 10:19 pm to Payne Avis Stewart
Gary Shirley, he was a big fat guy on Teen Mom who would routinely let his baby momma beat the shite out of him. Eventually had his own line of condoms.

I just went thru a rabbit hole and I want to deport these 2 people
as bad as the challenge is these 2 people remind me of someone that lived in morse, Jeanerette, or Cut Off
she obviously went thru GLP-1 after she became tv famous. She went from a OT 1.5 to OT 3

Paramount + has deleted the challenge 42 trailer on all of its social media platforms. I'm wondering if it had something to do with the music licensing rights.

Put Fat Gary and Eric on a team with Laurel. Make them work together. That could be fun.

Big Easy almost dying in the final is one of the greatest moments on television. CT said he was drinking the next day after leaving the hospital at the MTV finale party

He was drinking the night before the final too.
Then he quit again on Battle of the Seasons and got verbally destroyed by Camilla.

Bananas would have 8 championships if they would have just listened to him and threw big easy in the elimination instead of Bananas. It came back to haunt them forever. Veterans would have destroyed the rookies in that final without big easy and adding Johnny.

I think all of the eliminations that season were physical though, it would've been risky as a guy going against Big E and getting no money.
Also there's a good chance Brad doesn't get drunk and beat up by Darrell on The Ruins since he would've been on the champions team instead.

I never realized the domino effect. The only reason brad was so drunk and angry that season was because of the ending to Gauntlet III and then his next season Duel II which he came out 2nd in both and the fact that his team sucked every episode on the ruins and he knew he wasn't gonna win any money once again. Brad whole challenge downfall could go back to Big Easy. Darrell would have also won 5 shows in a row.

Apparently, Brad/Mark/Evan agreed to let Evan win the final on The Duel 2 and then split the money because Evan is Canadian and apparently they take less in taxes if you win on a game show or something.
I still can't believe Brad won that final elimination against Landon but kudos to him.
He had bad luck on The Duel 1 (after getting lucky against CT) with the first part of the final being soccer and Wes had just played in college.
