The random drug testing was due to some of Swift's buddies bringing drugs into the house. Apparently Branson got to the island a day earlier than everyone else and did blow then too.

Just finished watching the episode. Just my 2 cents
-That whole hiking segment was a huge waste of time
-Subway product placement is a little over board but that goes all the way back to Vegas so not unexpected
-Chelsea/Laura meeting was awkward as hell but i was hoping for alot more awkwardness, drinks thrown, slaps
-Random drug testing thing was stupid. What was the purpose of kicking Brandon out when theres only 1 episode left? At this point he's the only entertaining part of the cast
-Trey is such a tool and when Chelsea says "they dont know my Trey" i was
Overall this season goes down as one of those that had some potential to be good but just never overcame the pointless relationship drama and other shitty aspects of this season

They don't show it in order. At all. He could've been kicked off well before the last week or two. They just edit it however they see fit. That's why Robb's hair goes from short to longer to short again in three subsequent shots.
