That’s what I took it as as well, although they never specified

I’m stuck in s2 trying to finish. It’s beautifully directed and acted but so boring and uninteresting. I don’t know how people can look forward to this each week

What were your thoughts on season 1? Season 2 does take a slight dip in terms of the story but picks back in season 3.

Season 2 slows way down until about the mid-point til the end, and it does for a reason, that I don't want to give away.

Once you hit the twist in S2, you will blaze through it, and S3 picks way up.

Looks like S4 is going to be the best so far.

Fantastic episode

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the actress who played Angela is pretty bad and I think it’s better for the show that she’s gone.

Bumping OP from now on with next episode promo and synopsis.

I agree about Angela as well, trimming the little fat this show has is going to make it even better.

I've said it each season but the framing of the scenes, cinematography, the music, and the goddamn Title sequence are the best on television right now.

From a technical standpoint I would say it’s probably the best in TV history. It truly is cinematic quality filmmaking every single episode. The storyboarding has to be incredible. Kubrick-ian honestly.

Just curious as to why we didn’t see Vera in the premiere. With the way Season 3 ended with him returning and confronting Darlene in the cliffhanger I assumed he was going to be a focal point.

Are we to just assume he somehow got Darlene hooked and that’s why she is so fricked up and had a falling out with Elliot?

It also made sense that she would be killed.

Fantastic episode. I’m gonna need Elliot to show Darlene that picture. It can’t be worse for her than what she’s going through now.

If you watch the promo from next week he's in it.

Damn. I totally forgot about Vera. I should rewatch the earlier seasons. Feels like forever ago.

I don’t know anything about heroine or overdosing, but how long after the injection would you have to bring him back before it’s too late?

In case you didn’t remember (or didn’t see it), he was featured in the post credits scene for the season 3 finale.

I loved season one then 'life' kind of happened and season 2 was so boring/confusing (i would probably say more boring though) that i would miss episodes and not care. I had heard season 3 it kind of 'got good' again. I might have to check it out from the start and give it a go.

You'd be surprised. People don't die from the drug itself, it stops your breathing. You have a 1-3 hour window of when the breathing slows down and then eventually stops enough to die.

Narcan would potentially work any time in that window, obviously it depends how much the dose was, bc that will cut that window way down.

Wait what? I was under the impression Price was just testing him to make sure he could be trusted to fight White Rose and the Dark Army.

yep. dark army didn't drug him, price did. when he was stammering about knowing the bank, etc. they were checking to see if that was BS or not which is why they seemed indifferent to what he was telling them.

but i cant believe white rose would trust price after what they did to his daughter and how upset he was. they should already be several moves ahead of price (like they always have been).

the dom storyline was i was wondering when i heard they were introducing the taxidermist character this summer how they would work that in.

You aren't the only one to confuse it, it was common bc earlier in the episode WhiteRose tells his #2 to send Elliot a "message" to make sure he knows what's at stake.

Thing is, that was before the 2 month skip ahead (which wasn't explicit), so that "message" was never shown. It was easy to mix up the OD being not from Price but from WhiteRose. It was def from Price to see what Elliot would do and where his motives are.
