A few more thoughts before I go to bed and forget:
1. I actually didn’t realize until about 45 minutes in that there had been no dialogue for more than half an hour. I had to pause it and think when the last conversation was that wasn’t over text.
2. Elliot has some stamina. I wonder how long it took them to film the chase.
3. Next weeks episode is at 8, so I’ll finally get to watch one live.

I'm not sure I can watch it live, I never have.
It would have ruined the immersive experience this episode pulled off to go to commercial.

cannot believe an entire episode just happened with no dialogue except at the very beginning and it was "it's ok dude we don't have to talk"
Bookended with the line “I think it’s time we talk”
Just fantastic.
Like another poster said, I didn’t even realize until well into the episode that there hadn’t been any dialogue. They incorporated everything so seamlessly and naturally that it played like a modern day silent film.
Fitting for a show that focuses so much on today’s technology and how it can isolate us from society and each other that they would be able to tell a story exactly how we communicate today without the viewer even feeling as though anything is off about it.
Again, just a cinematic experience on the small screen. Esmail is a treasure.
I love that USA has enough confidence in him to green light an episode like this. Can you imagine the faces on the execs when he pitched this

Agreed. Our DVR screwed up so we actually paid to watch on Prime. Worked out for the best.
They do a good job of limiting commercials but still, can’t even think where they would have put the intermission break in this one.

But if they are going to take down white rose they’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
There's still 8 episodes left with the finale being 2 hours, I'm so happy about that, this will not be rushed.
Speaking of that Esmail purposely left a Starbucks cup in a shot this episode with his name written on it that cheeky bastard

No doubt. I’ll probably wait 15 minutes or so and watch it. I’ll have to fast forward, but I do that anyways.

Another great episode. I know people will be watching tomorrow, so I won't say anything else.
On an unrelated note, next week's episode is back to the original time and commercial free.

Vera came back pretty strong.
I still think Joey BadA$$ is going to end up saving Elliot. Hell of an episode though, the Dom/Darlene stuff was good, the Elliot and Olivia stuff heartbreaking.
Love this show.

I was waiting for someone to watch so I could discuss it.
Elliot’s character crossed a line I wasn’t really expecting him to. Still makes for great television.
One thing I didn’t love was the convenience of the Dark Army causing the El Salado massacre that killed Olivia’s mom. That (as well as the rule that the entire Deus Group has to meet in person to select a new CEO for E Corp) seemed a bit too contrived, IMO.

Every scene with Vera is fantastic, the actor is killing it.

Am I the only one kind of annoyed with the Vera storyline?
If there is one thing that this masterpiece falls victim to just like every other show, it’s the filler. I feel like they spend so much time trying to build up some of the secondary characters it just takes away from the narrative that they so carefully created that it could be even tighter and not need these long scenes where they try to build them up as some supervillains.
Vera and Janice this year, Irving (Cannavalle) last year, they tend to come off as caricatures in a series full of incredible characters and a story that doesn’t need the distraction or showiness.
Just a minor critique in the middle part of the season where it seems like we’re spinning tires a bit.

Elliot hasn't been the same since Angela's fate.
As for the secondary characters discussion, I love Leon, Vera, Dom, even Janice honestly. I do get your point but this season is giving us 15 episodes and the show was written for 5 seasons so I'm just glad it's getting 15.
I trust Sam Esmail after this run, as much as Gilligan at this point

Bump for tonight’s episode
Holy shite, those last 20 minutes. Rami Malek

Terrible episode imo, maybe the worst of the series. It’s time to hurry up and take down the dark army not spend 50 minutes on psychology session with a shallow character who gets stabbed in the back. Jesus that was cringeworthy the whole thing.

WTF? I couldn't disagree more.

Totally disagree
I will say I was starting to wonder where they were going with this episode at about the halfway point. But those last 20 minutes were fantastic.

I kind of agree, but we still have 6 episodes left
ETA: and if Mr Robot is “gone”, that is extremely important. It wasn’t some waste of an episode by any means

Man that was intense.
Malek is such an incredible actor and the guy who plays Vera was great as well.
I had a feeling when Vera put the knife on the shelf that it would come back around somehow

This is about last week, not last nights episode. but WOW.
The actor that played Vera nailed it. I love the stage play-like structure of it.
It was super intense, and the reveal ( ) at the end was just amazing. This is an amazing ride.
Cant wait to watch the new episode tonight, this show is watched best with headphones in complete darkness.
Malek, Esmail, and crew.
