this was the best episode of the season. the only thing holding it back is that they still want to dedicate significant time to tyrell even though that arc is going nowhere

Yea, this episode definitely set a lot of things in motion, but they sure took their time in getting there this season

So what I'm wondering is, did rat tail encrypt the database on purpose, and just say he couldn't get it done to take a stand against Ray. He seemed computer competent in his dealings with Elliot.

This is what I'm unclear on. Surely he could have easily accessed a computer another way. Why does he have to use the obviously super shady dude's computer?

Elliot removed all computers from his life. So he was like an addict, once he got access again he went 0 to 60.

He didn't have acceas to one and he also thought ray was his friend. He was, in his mind, killing two birds with one stone. Helping out darlene, and his assumed friend

I think Ray seeked out Elliott on purpose. When he told him "don't go looking around for anything" he knew that's exactly what he was gonna do. I think he's gonna see if he can trust him and help run his site and keeping it untrackable from the Feds

Yeah I can't wait for next week.
In a real lif scenario, would Dom have been shot as well. Watching that scene makes me think the hitmen or goons should have killed her first. She was also so close by her friend it would be impossible to not get shot unless if the shooter was that bad.
I know it's a show but what do y'all think. Of course she wasn't going to die then and there but it just seemed unrealistic imo
