I thought that was a sequel to pitch black and a prequel to chronicles or something like that

Oh yeah. I agree with this one. That was a good movie and a fun movie. Interesting story with franchise potential.

I have read that "Riddick" is the 3rd in the sequence and the Necromongers/Vaako are the ones that betray him and leave him stranded on the planet he is on for this film. He is trying to get off the planet to save Furya before Vaako destroys it.

No. It's not a sequel to the original movie.

I was hoping for some "The Fog" (the original one) type of shite anyways. The poor and huddled masses taking out all the rich folks from the boat.

that's tough because every fricking movie gets a sequel now, and I 3/5 favorite movies are sequels, but I am going to go with Batman & Robin, I just wonder what horrors schumacher would have treated us to...a penis on the bat suit?

True Lies- I always thought a Harry and Helen Tasker spy team would be good.

Goonies- Yes, a sequel needs to happen. I think Data and Corey Feldman could use the money. Really though, my childhood would really appreciate the nostalgia.

Zoolander- Derek and Hansel together.

The Incredibles- Is the Under-miner the main villain?

The Italian Job- Charlie and Stella need to crack open some safes very soon.

Eh....it wasn't great but being a fan of the books it tickled my nerd bone.

Calling it the worst film of all time is an absurd stretch though, seeing as it got over 300 million in the box office.

The main reason why they didn't go forward with it is because the profit margin wasn't super high, 2008 recession, and the fact that the anti religion theme REALLY ramps up in the following movies.

I'm still waiting on BTTF 4

Best chance of this would be 2015 since that is when BTTF 2 was set - but I haven't heard anything so I doubt it happens.

I thought it would be cool if a new BTTF came out in 2015 with all new characters but references to the old story line, scenes from BTTF 2 in the background, and some of the original characters now 30 years older. But I am sure Hollywood would screw this up bad.

I don't know why an Incredibles 2 hasn't happened yet. The movie can focus on Helen and what she gave up to be a wife and mother. Or maybe focus on the kids growing up. I think the Incredibles would lend itself to a sequel much easier than Finding Nemo. I wonder if this is a deal where the fact that they sold more Finding Nemo merchandise than Incredibles merchandise.

Oh, and I really wish they would make movie versions of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. And I would pay money to see a Ghostbusters 3 that starred the Judd Apatow players (Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson)

Awesome, awesome movie. And a lot of people just straight up have never heard about it, let alone seen it.

I remember this being one of the only movies my dad (who is ridiculously strict with spending) agreeing to see with me in theaters and enjoying it so much that he later bought it on DVD. Very under appreciated movie.
