Star Wars is the major one. I had to twist her arm to watch Lord of the Rings but she really liked it when she did. SO question. I won a bet and she agreed to watch Star Wars. Should I start with Episode 1 or 4?

ABSOLUTELY 4. I wouldn't even acknowledge the prequels.

I once met someone (chick that claimed to be a huge SW fan) that told me their favorite SW movie was Episode 1. No, I'm not kidding.

It's just a sad point of fact: women generally have terrible taste in movies.

My wife actually has very good taste in movies. We agree about 85% of the time, so she must have good taste, right?

And if someone tried to force me to watch The Hobbit (I slept through most of the LOTR trilogy and couldn't get into the books) OR any of the Star Wars crap, I'd dump 'em. When the Star Wars saga first began, I was hoping for grown up science fiction. Sadly it was not to be.

Your wife doesn't have good taste in movies, brah.

You just have terrible taste so you see eye to eye.

My wife pretty much refuses to watch any kind of horror/slasher movie.

Whichi is fine, I usually enjoy movies more without the female jabbering that HAS to happen.
