No Country For Old Men - no soundtrack whatsoever made it better!

The Revenant - that basic synth score on the wide open nature scenes was incredible. Very basic but memorable.

Pretty Much anything John Williams LOL.

Could you imagine Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars Superman just to name a few with the amazing soundtrack that made your hair stand up on your neck?

And the most obvious choice, Jaws.

Home Alone fades into obscurity without John Williams.

That newish tron movie.

I wouldn't go so far to say it elevates it to great but the Tron Legacy soundtrack is killer.

Lucas said that at the first screening, as soon as that opening shot of Mel's Diner appeared with Rock Around the Clock playing, the audience cheered.

There was a similar pent-up nostalgia for the late 60's with The Big Chill. Audiences went nuts for the music.

Let's not be to picky. The only thing I was excluding is Musicals.

2001 has an Iconic Score but the entire soundtrack not so much but I'll count either..

We've had a ton of nostalgia for 1962.

Three great nostalgia films with three great soundtracks:
American Graffiti
Animal House
Diner
