Butterfly Effect .... It wasn't anything special but I was able to sit through it.

Did y'all only watch the Theatrical version of the movie or the Director's cut?

The ending to the theatrical cut is pure dogshit, but unfortunately it's what america eats up. The Director's cut ending is awesome. def worth looking into.

"Law Abiding Citizen" I enjoyed it, all though I didn't care for the ending. Also Jamie Foxx ruined it for me, I think he it a terrible actor!

Thats a great documentary. Love that movie. Steve Webie was actually a pretty cool dude. All the other guys were fraking tools. Im glad he broke the record.

Speaking of docs, im probably going to watch The Art of the Steal sometime soon. Heard it was pretty good.

500 Days of Summer -

My sister recommended it to me and I was very hesitant bc it looked like a chick flick. Really enjoyed it

Atonement

I went into it not knowing much about it. I thought it was going to be a sappy romance/chick flick. It ended up being one of my favorite movies. Blew me away. The cinematography, the soundtrack...everything. Perfection.

The devil wears prada
Also, I had no clue what napoleon dynamite was when I heard we were watching it, and during the opening credits I wasn't too sure it was gonna be good.

Next; Kid Galahad. Another very good ELVIS movie.

Haven't seen that one yet but I've seen the Michael Curtiz 37' version with Bette Davis, Edward G., and Bogart.

Absolutely under no circumstances...
How's the head?
We had a meeting a couple weeks ago, they told us 3 more months, same as last time. Disappointing, but we have no choice but to deal with it.

It's good but it's also my least favorite of Leone's movies. Part of his Once Upon A... trilogy this one dealing with the Mexican Revolution.

The last 3 did, I'm sure these will too.
Dude, you HAVE to check out that andrew belle guy I mentioned in the 2010 music thread. We saw him friday night on 6th st in concert(before we caught the tosh tour twenty ten) and he was great. Its stuff you would be begging me to teach you how to play after I figured it out instead of going to the gym. His song "in my veins" was on the season finale of greys anatomy. "Static waves" is on the radio here, and "ladders" is the title track on the cd I bought that he autographed for me

Learn your basic chords and scales, and go off your ear after that when it comes to learning songs. It'll make you a better player in the long run.
Have fun with that. We did the reading last night during our family study. For about 10 verses, I read only the names and she read every other word. You try that with quenton
