Zodiac - it was really good until Jake G started annoying the shite out of me

The Game - first half is so awesome but then the ending is nothing but a big "seriously WTF?"

Yep, If it's on cable, I will literally watch it up to that point and turn the channel.

ETA:
Could have been a great crime/slasher movie but they had to add horror.

I love The Phantom Menace. I never understood the hate for it on this board.

Watchmen...just too uneven after the title sequence.

I have to add Looper after several rewatches...
Once the woman/kid show up...it kinda goes downhill.

this. the beginning was creepy and scary and pretty intense while the truck was chasing them, but as soon as they showed the monster it got campy and retarded.

agree with everyone naming this flick

I was legitimately freaked out before the monster reveal.

I'll never be able to rewatch Looper, just so depressing.

Place Behind The Pines had the best first hour or so of almost any movie and then it turned into absolute shite.

Ironman. It's pretty fricking awesome until he escapes the terrorists. The film then nose dives from there, and the franchise never recovered, aside from the nice blip known as the Avengers.

While I'll agree that IM2 and IM3 were disappointments, Jeff Bridges was great in IM1 and when he nearly killed Tony was a highpoint in the film.

Seconded.

Trout Fishing in Yemen was very good in the first half and then completely meh. It made the mistake of starting as a clever comedy and then tried to get serious. Instead it just got conventional and boring.
