I'm not sure I agree with that

Just curious. What are some examples of some comedies that you do like?

Hmm. A good example would be something like Rushmore.

Then change the thread title to movies I don't really care to see. You don't have the desire to see funny movies, congrats.

You get asked what are some of your favorite comedies and you say, hmm, Rushmore. So you had to think about it for a minute and scraped up one comedy?

Dude just stop. Its obvious this is a troll thread. You know most everyone you know has seen these. You come on here trying to brag and claim that you have far more intelligence than anyone who watched these movies. You insinuate that this humor is beneath you. Its your MO. Nothing to miss. I refuse to believe that none of your friends(if you have any)successfully tried to get you to watch any of the movies listed either.

That said, some of the ones you listed are great while some are just meh.

You're projecting on to me things I never said.

Well you're wrong

Are you trying to say that in order to have friends, someone has to have seen all these movies?

Star Wars Movies (except Empire Strikes Back)
Lord of the Rings Movies
The Hobbit Movies
High Noon
The Searchers
True Grit
From Here To Eternity

Just recently saw some great ones I had never seen just in the past two weeks:

I don't think taste I movies is the totality of someone's value as a human being.

So personal attacks are ok, but expressing your opinion = dbag?

But you've practically some neither. You keep saying "tell me what I'm missing," when several people have already done so. And the only opinion you've mustered in almost four pages is "they don't look funny."

Most people start "movies I haven't seen" threads list movies they haven't seen but plan on seeing. Not list them and just say they're stupid, I have no desire to see them and complain about about movies you haven't even watched. Who cares? Why even start the thread other than to troll?

I posted synopsis-type statements in page one of every movie you listed.

If you want the plots of the movies, go to Wikipedia.

That's not really what I'm looking for. I made it clear I don't like the kind of lowest common denominator humor that these films at the very least portray themselves as (which may not be accurate in all cases)

What sort of cinematic value exists outside of that type if humor?
