Oh yeah...it was V/H/S.

I loved the trailer for that one, but it wasn't very good and I was really disappointed because the premise (5 directors doing 5 short horror stories) seemed cool to me.

yeah, the movie was just the trailer but drawn out. I rarely hate movies, and am pretty easily entertained, but that one blew donkey

I've heard this one sucks. I've owned it for years, and still have yet to watch it. But you're right, the trailer was pretty cool.

Its in my bottom five. Just an absolute clusterfrick of a film that can send me into a rage pretty instantly. There is absolutely nothing in this film that makes any damn sense, and every character action is so stupid, I have a hard time fathoming that someone over 5 years old wrote this script.

2 pages through and no one else has mentioned the stinkfest that was Drive?!

I remember seeing the trailer though and thinking it looked like a pretty decent action flick rather than the snoozefest that it ended up being!

I remembered seeing the 10000 BC trailer and thinking it looked awesome....then read reviews...

I rarely watch movies that have bad reviews unless their comedies since critics seem to be harsh on those

Maybe because Drive is an actual great film for starters?

As for my submission and the one I think sets the bar: The Last Airbender. Pretty damn awesome where I think everyone was looking forward to this scene. The ironic thing is nothing from the teaser made it into the film, so the best part of the film wasn't even there. LINK

Someone else. We talked about it very briefly in another thread last week after I watched it

I guess then that 8% of critics on RT are special needs critics. It should be even lower than that. It had ok special effects I guess, but everything else about it is unbelievably terrible.

Pretty much any comedy that ends up getting awful reviews would fall into this category. I hate when they put all the best parts in the trailer. Especially if the punch line of a joke gets used. It takes away from it when you finally see the movie.
