I recently read conflicting reports/ideas about the experience. Can you actually order from your seat? If so, does that cause a disturbance? Is it as dark as other theaters? I ask because of the dining issue.

Thanks!

They are pretty cool. They are good at keeping the distractions low. I always enjoyed ordering a beer while I watch a movie. The food is just okay. It is pretty much what you expect from a Chillis or
Friday's.

Studio Movie Grill is better if you have one in your area.

Been several times to the Denton Movie Tavern. Love it. The way it's laid out (I can only speak for Dentons) makes it easy to order from your seat, and enjoy the movie without being disturbed. There's plenty of space between the rows so someone else ordering around you and the servers going back and forth aren't a distraction at all. Its really the only movie theater I'll go to now. And the food is really good too. (As are the drinks)

Canal Place Theater in NOLA is fine, not very distracting. One added bonus to going to those type of theaters is you don't get any riffraff at them.

Been to one at Downtown Disney before. It's an AMC theatre.

Very cool.

No distractions whatsoever. Totally enjoyed the experience.
Agree about the food being like a Chile's or Applebee's. you can get appetizers, entre's, desserts, etc

Also, agree about the riff raff. It can get pricey.

Wished we had one in Jackson, MS.

I really like Canal Place. And the food is much better than a Chili's or Applebee's.

I have an Alamo Drafthouse by me. It is a great experience. You can order decent food and beer from your seat and they actually pride themselves in people they kick out for talking or texting.

We have been to one once. It was OK. Kind of nice to have your meal during the movie. Food was OK, not bad, not great.

Agreed! They have solid specialty cocktails too. Never thought I would say it but the seats are almost TOO comfortable. I feel asleep for about 20 minutes during the last movie I saw there

Alamo Drafthouse is great.

Good beer selection. As mentioned the food is just ok.

No distractions. Guys are very quiet and crouch the whole time.
