This is a true story written by Lt. Col. Michael Strobl of his journey to escort the body of PFC Chance Phelps back to his family.
Great movie...the part where he's at the airport with the other soldier who's escorting his brother...hard to get through

Na, the kid buys 2 coon dogs outta the JC Penny mag and goes hunting. One of the dogs gets killed by a mountain lion protecting the kid and the other just sits with it and dies. Thats some rough shite for a 3rd grader to deal with.

The scene where Forrest sends Forrest Jr. on his first day of school makes me tear up.

The end of "Big Fish" when the father aks the son to tell him the story of how he dies. Every time I watch it I know it's coming and there's nothing I can ever do to stop it.

I have already said the green mile, which is deffinitly the saddest movie, but other scenes that qualify are
When raymon leena over and rests his head on Charlie on rainman
when will smith is cryin in a local bathroom when he holds his son and somebody is banging on the door in the pursuit of happiness
And multiple parts in crash
