Movie question from the 60's...hopefully someone knows the title

Back in the 60's the local movie theatre in the very small rural town I grew up in had a very "B" movie about sea monsters that would come out of the ocean and of course kill people. While trying to figure out how to kill them, one of the "scientist" or "LEO's" accidentally spilled bourbon on an arm from one of the sea monsters that had been cut off and the bourbon dissolved the arm...thus the answer to how to kill the monsters. Bourbon bombs.
Anyone know the name of this movie...I would love to pop some popcorn and stream this movie and relive 1964 (or whenever it was).
TIA

With a little googling, found this:
The Horror of Party Beach
The synopsis doesn't mention bourbon though:
MST full movie

Dr. Gavin finds an arm lost by one of the monsters and discovers that only sodium will destroy the monsters, whose composition is mostly water. Can they gather enough salt in southern California to put an end to this horror?

Thanks. My 11 year old mind remembers it as being bourbon, maybe it was sodium. That would be weird though since they came out of the ocean and sea water has sodium...I will check it out.

Sounds a lot like a really good movie I watched a few years back called "Grabbers" (2012) It's an Irish Horror/Comedy.
Sea monsters that thrive on blood and water attack a small Irish village and kill a number of the residents but it's discovered that if a person has a high blood alcohol content their blood is highly toxic to the sea monsters.
Hilarity ensues as the town must stay completely shite faced in order to battle the sea monsters.
This movie may have been directly influenced by the one you remember from the 60's

So the scientist was being attacked by a sea monster, and was trying not to spill his bourbon? Instant....legend...

99% sure The Horror of Party Beach is not it.....though close. Again, the best I can recall from 58ish years ago, the sea monster had what looked like seaweed or kelp hanging off it.
