The final scene of It's a Wonderful Life when Harry gives a toast and says, "to my big brother George, the richest man in town"

Much to my own surprise I've teared up recently watching Modern Family, not necessarily tears rolling down the face but definite sniffling going on. As hilarious as my wife and find that show, it gets me from time to time.

Scene in Hawaii vacation where Phil surprises Claire with the wedding they never had.

The scene when Haley goes to college and then calls Phil & Claire in their car on the way home they hold back their tears.

It's a wonderful life. That second that George comes home hugs his family and everybody rushes in to save his bacon because of the difference he's been in their life gets me around 10 PM every christmas eve.

It's about the only time i cry every single year.

other honorable mentions.

Earn this.
Jean Valjean is finally fine to die.
When Oscar Schindler cries over knowing he could have done more.

this crushes me because it's sad for the toys, but also an inevitability of time and growing up.

but i love my baby girl so much that it was worth giving those things up. i know, getting all emo now.

Can't watch it a second time bc the parallels to losing my pops were almost too much.

There were a couple on scenes in the Will Smith Pursuit of Happyness movie that made me get a lump in the throat. When he and his son have to sleep in the stairwell of the parking deck and when he gets the job at the end.

I was coming to post this, because it quite literally gets me every time. Like clockwork, at 10 PM on Christmas Eve, just like you.

Others:

Rudy
The Natural when Roy Hobbs knocks the lights out - what a great scene.
I was a mess after Toy Story 3 (Lots of real-life parallels)
"Brooks was here" - Shawshank Redemption

Couldn't sleep one night so I turned on Futurama. It was an episode called "Game of Tones" that I had never seen before and I'll be damned if I didn't end up sobbing. That, Jurassic Bark, and a few others will catch you off guard. Excellent show.

When Barney meets his daughter in the HIMYM finale - that choked me up.
