I'd also throw in King Kong though he may not count
i was thinking that but that may be more of a misunderstood protagonist.
like john Q maybe? i dunno, i guess the real movie nerds need to correct me.
in the meantime can i throw in costner's character in a perfect world or is he like kong?

Also, to live up to my name, Shere Khan in The Jungle Book is 100% justified
In the book maybe. But maybe I'm misremembering.
Also how can Buffalo Bill be mention and not Lector? Hannibal Lector takes the cake for me.
I'll add Goldfinger too.

While I'm thinking if Goldfinger. Let's add Dr. Evil.

John Q was the hero in that movie. That said, the two people that were treated the most like villains performed the most heroic acts in the movie. Seriously, the cop that he humiliates and beats the crap out of was trying to stop a guy that had 20+ people held hostage and shut down a city hospital's emergency room and the hostage that attacked him was taking on someone that was holding him and his girlfriend hostage with a gun (yes, he beat up his girlfriend but compared to John Q the guy was a saint). John Q should never see the light of day again after the shite he pulled in that movie...

Not a movie, but I'll throw out Wile E. Coyote. That fricking Road Runner was asking for it.

The Coyote was the protagonist, the Road Runner was the antagonist. I'm going with the Road Runner being one of the biggest bastard villains ever.

Got to go with the Wicked Witch of the West. All she really wanted was property that was already her's and maybe a little revenge for someone murdering her sister.
yeah, the whole story revolved around girls fighting over a pair of shoes! that's a shocker

For real! I mean, what exactly did she do in the movie that was so evil besides "act" evil? All she wanted were her sisters flipping shoes. Seems like they really should have been hers anyway. Flipping unjust Oz.

That's a great one. I love the way Eastwood directed this character. There's lots to like about Hackman's character, but when he shows his cruel side, you know the man has done some dispicable things.

Gene Hackman in The Firm also.

Does Frankenstein's monster count?
Posted on 1/19/11 at 2:36 pm to dslsufan80
I would think so. I would put him on the list.

What about Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction?
I'm pretty sure everyone relished seeing the gimp, the cop, and the pawn shop owner getting fricked up, or at least listening to the promise of it "imma call a couple'a hard, pipe-hittin' nîggaz to go medieval on they asses with a pair'a pliers and a blowtorch."
