No Country for Old Men. Anton Chiggurh when he’s in the hotel room with Woody Harleson’s character. Then the phone goes off.

Bone Tomahawk, as soon as the guy realizes he will get cut in half.

I can’t remember the name of the movie. I believe it stars Cuba Gooding Jr and Emilio Estevez. Dennis Leary is the bad guy. 4 friends going to a basketball game get detoured through the hood then shite goes awry. Lots of chasing and hiding. It probably sucks now but young me thought it was intense.

Judgment Night loved that movie as a kid

Judgment Night is excellent. Love that movie, and it's weird to me how many people have never heard of it. It's also a solid entry to this thread.
Just wanted to bump this and say whoever mentioned Hotel Mumbai, great call. I watched it over the weekend, and man it's intense as shite. I can't imagine being in a scenario like that, but especially separated from my wife and kid like that one family. That movie was fricking stressful as all hell. But it was good though.

The Revenant bear attack. Just brutal

Another one I just thought about. Incident in a Ghostland. I watched that one this past year after seeing it discussed a little on this board, and holy shite it is brutal. It's not nonstop intense like some mentioned in this thread, but there are certain parts of it that almost make you want to turn it off, even knowing it's just a movie.

I found the movie Fury to be very intense. The new All Quiet on the Western Front was as well.
I’ve never seen Hostel but I’m sure that’d be up there. I don’t need to watch a movie about torture though.
