Sony probably delaying so they can film an Andrew Garfield cameo to revive their ASM universe after the reaction to No Way Home. And there’s nothing Feige can do about it.

I was mildly interested, at best. The tie ins with the Sinister 6 and possibly Michael Keaton's Vulture character looked decent enough. Not a good look to move it back at this juncture.
