We have episodes 7 and 8 left. We were really excited about this when it came out based on the other two Monsters. Why not just tell a straight story..start with Ed Gein and then transition into his influences of horror movies at the end of the series.

I just watched the episode where he yells at the girl “I’ve got blue balls!” It just didn’t seem like authentic language for the time period. However upon googling, I stand corrected that this term has been around since the 1920s. It still didn’t feel right and that was one of many examples of dialogue that didn’t fit to me.

Made it through two episodes and can’t finish the rest. Way too much jumping around and too many things that they fabricated.

I thought it was interesting the after the first two episodes, then I googled Ed Gein and found out most of what is in the show is not accurate.

There could be an entire show about all the things that was wrong with this show.
I don't hate watch shows, there's just too much good TV out there to watch something I don't like. But I somehow made it to episode six and by that point I was literally wanting to DM the showrunner on Twitter and tell him what a douche he is

The wife and I finish this last night. After about two episodes we just started looking at it as a comedy, although a very disturbing one. I hate to say it, but I actually kind of enjoyed it. The next monster series … Lizzie Borden. Let’s see how bad this one is butchered (pun intended).
