For 1, she was the rat, but she wasn’t the rat for everything. Harry established that when he was asking her questions about it.

I definitely would not have predicted in episode 1 that Kev ends up being arguably the only character I like by season's end

3- Kat was setup to be super powerful- yet Harry just flat rejects her to make her up as an enemy? Why didn’t he suggest partnership?

The writing sort of doesn’t make sense at times or is purposely done so to throw you off but the show is entertaining so you can let it go
For example, why would Kat even bother helping to broker that deal for the Harrigans if her plan was to just wipe them all out anyway ?

She did it as a favor to Harry, because she wants Harry to work for her?

I think that she wanted to show Harry how powerful she is and how convenient working for her would be. She also thinks she is trapping Harry because once she helps him, he owes her and HAS to come work for her. Him telling her no wasn't really a possibility in her mind.

Maybe but I think it’s just written that way to throw you off but then you look back and you’re like well that didn’t really make sense..but again the show is good so you can look past it, unlike say Yellowstone

Really enjoyed this one, looking forward to season 2. I did figure the lawyer would be the rat early on given she was sitting in the room when Conrad did the killing.

Jumping to the end here.
E7.
What a great show but damn the protagonists are actually all pretty shitty people, right? With the exception of maybe Harry and Kevin.

Holy shite, this was a great series!
Lot's of violence, backstabbing, gamesmanship.
Harry is a badass.
Brosnan nails the kingpin roll.
Of course the entitled son is a completely unlikeable piece of shite.
Jan is a far cry from Anna from Downton Abbey
Is Hellen Mirren ever NOT great?
Could do with a little more nudity though.

I just finished binging and I assume that Kat is some sort of CIA asset and Jaime (the guy who had the dude chainsaw'd) is head of the CIA supported cartel.

Yea. I’ve thought Kat was affiliated with some sort of government entity from jump.

I said this early on but got shot down. Yes, I still think she is somehow government related.

I miss hearing the badass theme song on my Sunday mornings.

CIA has been doing that for like 30 years now in Mexico. I guess one dominant cartel is "better" than a bunch of cartels fighting each other.
