"Megan Is Missing"-More Disturbing than Serbian Film IMO

This is on Netflix. It is a camcorder type movie like The Blair Witch about this 14 year old girl Megan and her friend who end up going missing after talking to this pedo on the internet. The movie starts off sort of slow with them going to a party with drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. etc. but after that it is all downhill from there. The movie actually shows what happens when both of the girls are taken captive. Lastly, they show 2 photos of Megan being "tortured" that will forever be burned in my mind. I have no clue as to how these types of movies find me, but the last 20 minutes or so of the movie was hard to stomach. This is coming from a guy who has seen his fair share of twisted shite too. I guess the fact that it bothers me so much is that there actually are people out there like this. Has anyone else seen it?

The acting and the way it was filmed was irritating. The two fetish photos were pretty disturbing, as was the whole thought that sickos like that do exist. I think they overdid the beginning with all the sex talk, although kids today aren't exactly saints. Decent movie as a timekiller.

Stuff like this does bother me. Not so much while watching it but after.
My gf was driving over night and her car broke down. She was just past midway on a 10 hour drive. She sat on the side of I-20 waiting for help for almost 3 hours. I told her to call the cops because that shut isn't safe but she said a friend was on the way.
Obviously she is fine, but the next day she read in the local paper about the cops arresting a guy about 5 miles from where she was. Apparently the guy abducted a girl and raped/tortured her while she was strapped to a deer processing machine or something over the course of two weeks.
Stuff like this does bother me. Not so much while watching it but after.

I remember reading that book a few years ago. The aunt was am incredibly evil character. It is also based on the real life murder of Slyvia Liken. Good book.

naaah one part is kinda creepy (think about the scene from the ring with the girl in the closet) but it only lasts for a split second...i didnt see the pictures that the OP was talking about though they must not be in the last 20 min

Side note, I dont know if you've ever seen the movie Strangeland with Dee Snider, but its a similar plot line if you're in to that sort of thing.

I didn't find it any more disturbing then the early saw and hostel movies.
