This attempt to make 'Barbie' for Eighties-nostalgia–loving dudes is not a movie. It is extremely bad brand management.

the post you are replying to is humor

Sorry it upset you to see me mock Rolling Stone.

The other quote was reacting to early reviews

Which is kinda the point of reviews.

Interesting you chose that post, rather than the several where I say I doubt that shite is in there.

I guess those don't fit what you need me to be saying.

this is a discussion board and with more time and information people are allowed to change their outlook on things. early reviews were concerning but they wound up being bullshite. at the time, it was what we had to talk about.

OK so now that you see how misleading reviews can be maybe you should learn not to react to them

or you can just keep flip flopping based on every review you read. I guess it's ultimately your choice.

saw this edit.

I use available information to inform my judgement.

Those judgements and opinions can change with new information.

You know. . like a human person does. It's axiomatic, but to idealogues.

If that sounds wrong, or even odd to you. . .you are simply saying reason is distasteful.

Crazy how one side says it’s woke crap and the other says misogynistic man splaining….sums up the current climate about right

In other words, you choose to read bullshite and believe the bullshite but it's not your fault for believing everything you read

To be fair the vast majority of regular people on Twitter are saying it’s good and not woke.

There’s only one nerdrotic regular so far (I mention because it’s ground zero for culture war talk—some bald headed guy named Tom is one) arguing otherwise.

Knights Watch is a regular on that channel and loved it though

no one to blame but liberals who created this whole ideology and put it into movies and tv shows and ruined things forever moving forward. Miss the 90's when none of this was around.

I heard it was boring as shite and nothing really happened till the third act.

you believe this bullshite? Really?

The movie opens up with a huge action set piece and there’s action throughout. (And it’s a highlight of the movie)

It’s just insulting repeating stuff like that

Then don’t watch it. Simple as that.

Finished up watching it and I feel like it hit every nostalgic dopamine sensor I have.

Loved it. Had its moments that were humorous with the subtle adult humor in there.

LOVE the way they kept Skeletor and all his henchmen were powerful with a touch of stupid, just like the cartoon I remember. Even Skeletors laughing half the movie was perfect.

There are a couple characters missing which I was bummed about. There were also a couple in this one I had no memory of. I don’t remember Goat Man AT ALL. Had to look him up.

Worth the trip to the theater to check out. It was fun like a remake of a cartoon should be. Definitely reccomend if you go in understanding what it is and not going in like some obnoxious critic.

Stay for the end credits.
