Brie wasn’t my first choice but I’m sure she’ll nail it. Marvel has been spot on with their casting from the beginning.
I thought Emily Blunt was the perfect choice for this role. Still holding out hope she winds up as the Invisible Woman with John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic.

I don't see the excitement over Captain Marvel. Brie Larson was god awful in Kong. Her acting consisted of looking in awe for the bulk of the film. Also, Emily Blunt should have been Black Widow (she was the runner up).

Was that the writing or the acting? She was great in Room.
I doubt we see much footage other than quick snippets like others have said. Some of the insiders also heard Marvel/Disney aren't taking a normal advertising approach to A4. This trailer might be all we get tbh

If we get anything it will be a teaser and the title.
The full length trailer wont come out until March with captain marvel giving people another reason to go see it

I just think, like you said with her being a less known character, putting out a Avengers trailer gets people taking about that.....a movie that needs no marketing.
Would this board be discussing the Marvel Trailer or the Avengers? I could see a title tease and that's it

She's apparently really good in the Queen of Scots movie coming out soon, too. I would have been fine with her in this role although I think she's a perfect Harley Quinn.

It's going to be weird that Ant Man and Marvel will come save the day when they weren't even in Avengers Infinity War.

I certainly hope so. I would rather they start over with the original X-Men and just go from there. The reboot with the Mystique/Beast love interest was fun but having Mystique become the center of the team did nothing but frick over what has been a good antagonist character.

Captain Marvel needs the tie with A4 and people need to feel it’s crucial to see it in order to understand A4. It will make more money that way
