I don't know if this was posted last month but Mark posted this on his Twitter with the hashtag missed opportunity. It even includes a rare moment of grumpy Luke smiling.

The lack of Chewbacca in that picture bothers me on an unhealthy level.

Man all this shows is the lack of touch by KK and the rest of the higher ups. What a disappointment

Is he saying they should've made a new Star Wars movie with the original cast?

Sometimes you can be too cool for school when you are making part of a franchise. "We don't want to pander to our audience." Well, sometimes the audience wants to be pandered to a little thank you very much.

I’m sorta ready for Star Wars to be over for good.

Should have been over ... or, at a minimum, Hamill banned, when he agreed to be "CockKnocker"

The Twitter weirdos chastised Mark for that tweet. They said that the image he retweeted was from an “alt-right” fan. I guess OT fans and alt-right are interchangeable now.

One of those people bitching was Chuck Wendig, who has written some recent Star Wars books. He’s a sky screamer of such extreme that even Marvel Comics had to fire him.

This is what Star Wars has become.

I've met Chuck. He's an a-hole in person.

After they got on Mark case about it, he tweeted an apology as is right and proper. He is an old dinosaur by today standard, he should stay in his lane, collect his pay check and shut the hell up about reuniting with ANY sort of cast. He need to stop undermining the new cast and splitting the fandom.

Agreed. I would also like to see them blow the dust off of George Lucas' script for Episode 7 and see what the story was going to be.

Luke should have called the lightsaber to himself when Kylo and Rey were fighting over it. Luke could still have been mopey in TLJ only this time because he realized had he come earlier, Han would still have been alive.
