This was a fantastic episode. So much happening, deepening, and unfolding.

Hot Betty back in business. Of course she's been wanting to frick Don, but how desperate is Don for companionship if he goes back to his ex wife?

I think this season has been the showcase that it is not Don who controls women, but the women in his life control him.

I think next season will be a really sad downward spiral to Don's suicide.

Megan's gonna leave him. Betty won't give up Henry for him. His affairs don't do it for him. He seems to not give a shite about work anymore.

Maybe he'll realize that his kids are what he should live for and sell his share of the company and move to a farm in Upstate New York. Right back where he started but this time with a real family with real happiness.

Very astute and correct I believe. He plays the role just as that...a role. The same way he plays the role of Alpha businessman, Father, caring husband. He knows that these are the things he must be in order to thrive but can't reconcile these qualities within himself.

Absolutely.

Good episode. I knew soon as Betty was looking hot again and Don showed up, they were gonna end up in bed together.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

The whole scene with Peggy's boyfriend breaking up with her was golden. Doesn't get much better than that.

Benson's little white lies to smooth things over intrigues me. Very interested in seeing exactly who he is.

Agreed on both counts. Here's my take that I got from Benson last night: I believe in the end he will be exposed as a wholly altruistic, good-natured gay man whose is not licentious or disingenuous in the least- or he is working with Duck as mentioned before

Just wanted to drop in and say that this season has been unbelievably good.

It's amazing that they can drop in a new character seamlessly into the show this far in like Bob, and have him be so incredibly interesting and not distracting. They have done some crazy stuff so far this season between the stabbing, major merger, speed episode etc. Without the incredible writing and show runner a lot of it could be shock value, or "jump the shark" moments, but it all fits and works.

It's Benson.

The Rolling Stone had an article on him a couple weeks ago with some theories being thrown around on who he is:

- A government agent investigating Don Draper.
- A plant from another agency
- An investigative journalist
- A red herring

Enjoy

I can't see this. Why would the FBI waste time investigating a dead man who no one has ever raised any questions about?

Ending was great with the closed doors of her bosses/mentors and Peggy stranded, alone, stuck in the middle treading water looking over-whelmed and confused

Lil' ol' Peggy like a Rolling Stone...no direction home.

I think the stabbing means something - maybe Peggy gets ruthless and stops looking for a man to hold her hand on the way up.
