But that's not really happening though. People bitch when characters are race swapped or gender swapped for no reason. If an established character is already a white dude, what's the purpose in swapping? Original characters are what Hollyweird is the worst at, which is one reason why they usurp established ones and swap them.

Funny, how we're supposed to not flinch one bit when a character is swapped via race, gender, etc... but it's a hell's fury if anyone DARES to 'culturally appropriate' something.

Seriously, we're at the doorstep of the greatest time to be a Star Wars fan, and people like you would rather be miserable because of some fantasy about a white male majority in a space opera.

It's just being force fed shite every single turn. Why can't a movie be made as just a movie?
It's constant nagging and complaining from a fringe group on representing x, y, z group.
Just make a fricking movie with a good storyline. If it has gay, minorities, females etc starring and it's a good movie then that's awesome. But for fricks sakes it's so tiresome to see the industry force feed shite down everyone's mouth.

There's been complaining about The Mandalorian. Not a movie, sure, but it has a great story and there's still whining about it. Too many bad white dudes, too many women beating up men, too many minorities, etc.
It's dishonest to act like that isn't going on. There's nothing selective about it. Star Wars fans seem determined to complain about something.
