Feloni and Favreau have done amazing with Star Wars.

Feloni also directed one of the single greatest female characters among all Disney properties.

If this is true, I surely hope Disney realizes what a gem they have in Favreau.

Filoni is responsible for more than just Ahsoka.

Dave Filoni, but I don't think anyone is calling to get rid of him. He worked with Favreau on the Mandalorian.

Sabine is a fan favorite in my house. My 12 year old dressed as her for Halloween a few years back.

He also developed Barris Offee, the Seventh Sister, Satine and Bo-Katan Kryze, Mori, Ursa Wren, etc.

To everybody, if you haven't seen the behind the scenes special of The Mandalorian that premiered on Disney+ Monday, I highly recommend it. The first episode was a focus on the directors and you can tell just from a quick episode how much Favreau, Filoni, and the other directors understand the universe and the responsibility they bear continuing the franchise.

That's awesome. I hope that they make a series or movie about Sabine and Ahsoka's journey together. I guess that we will see a piece of that in The Mandalorian S2. Perhaps, they spin off of that into another series.

How is this even a debate with Disney executives?

It's in the OP:

being against her or her series is misogynistic, mean, and unfair.”

In the spirit of Disney creativity I just created a new term for this: "Toxic Vaginility".

Oh I know. The female Rebels characters are good, especially Sabine IMHO - but Ahsoka might very well be the best character PERIOD in all of Star Wars.

Considering how rough her start was with the animated Clone Wars series, it's doubly impressive where she ended up.

I think it would make a great anthology series, as they travel planet to planet. In the same vein as The Mandalorian, that there's an overall purpose (finding Ezra / keeping baby Yoda safe) but each episode can more or less be watched on its own. Or have mini-arcs, like this last season of Clone Wars.
