Yea. I didn't know there was already a show about it until I started this thread.
It's what Hollywood does. Anytime there's a true crime show that gets popular, every platform does something on it. I would imagine there will be a Dateline or 48 hours episode on it and a Netflix documentary in the works.

The first version was a TV movie back in 1990 starring Barbara Hershey as Candy.

I actually disagree. Candy's husband is a smart, successful engineer. He looks goofy, but probably wasn't that unattractive for the time. But he is a dullard, which is why Candy became disillusioned.
Allan clearly isn't a looker, but he is also successful, polite, and has a big hog, which Candy discovered when he rammed her with it so hard that she fell to the ground on the volleyball court.
I used to have the biggest crush on the Olsen twins when I was a child. Who would've thought that the little sister would become the best out of the bunch.

She definitely had that sexy housewife bit down. I haven't been a huge fan of her but I like her in this.
I found it weird that she was so open to telling people about her affair.

Never really noticed her but she's really good in this.
Nice pair of jubblies on her too.

It seems like Tom Pelphry should be getting bigger roles. Dude is a damn good actor.

I remember him way back when he was on a soap opera my Mom watched.
In all seriousness, this show ended up better than I thought it would be. They’ve done a good job of portraying the murder without being over the top. And leaving things to the imagination.

Weird arse first episode. I’d 10/10 do this affair right this second solely for that nice of a lunch, prepared, and set out for me by someone all dolled up like that
Damn, womenz used to be different back in the day!

A hot housewife wants no strings attached sex. She's providing the motel room and a homemade lunch. Sounds too good to be true. She's probably an axe murderer.

Didn't get to finish the episode but if that's how Allan Gore's testimony then he definitely did Candy a favor. Prosecutor did a pretty good job in his questioning.

I couldn't tell if he was lying on the stand about whether or not there were hard feelings, or if he sincerely didn't believe that Candy had hard enough feelings for him to consider them hard feelings.

I have only seen him in Ozark and Outer Range. He kind of blew me away in Ozark. And he was damn good in Outer Range as well. Dude sure can pull off a country accent for being from NJ.

Man, they really took some liberties with Elizabeth Olsen playing this chick on the right. Guess they’re trying to portray her as irresistible- and the real life person was not that.

I like the Jessica Biel one better (for obvious reasons)

This show is fascinating. I fricking love it.
The court scenes are so good.

Just watched the last episode. Great show. Hope Tom Pelphrey gets nominated for some awards on this one. He was excellent.

Hulu 1 was better but hbo 1 showed graphic murder scene in finale.

Honestly don't know what the obvious reasons are other than the Jessica Biel version definitely made her look more like the real Candy. They are both smoke shows.
