Lots of smoke out there that the Blade movie has been cancelled by the MCU

What a fricking fumble
Easiest movie in history to make
Any one of you in this thread with a tenuous grasp of the language and subject matter could have made a good script

I heard that the script was Blade being pushed aside for a young female apprentice to take center stage of the movie (Dr strange in the multiverse of madness) and Ali said hell no. What happened since was a stalemate of re-tooling and reworking the script to no avail.

Mahershala Ali is too old, everybody knows this. Feige just can't recast Blade with a younger actor for another year or two, until it's obvious enough he can admit they missed their window to do it with Mahershala.

Yeah, it's crazy that they've effed this up no less than 3 times.
Cant imagine why it's all of a sudden so difficult to turn an unpopular side player who's never once had a popular or consistent ongoing series into a homerun film property.

Disney isn’t capable of making a fun/cool movie like Blade in 2025 without making some woke trash
