No, jacob drops the bomb and after 10 seconds of show time we have the answer? NO way. Gotta be a twist.

The bomb was dropped in the lighthouse and by Ilana, not by Jacob. Jack has known for nearly a week that he was a candidate to replace Jacob.

Ya, I thought that was a MUCH bigger deal than the "protector" scene. Made me think a lot of cool stuff would be revealed there and maybe thats why they gave the "selection scene" 10 seconds.

That just makes Jacob an absolute tard and full of shite by the way. "Hey, I needed all 8 of you even though I pretty knew who I needed, and for the past week, you 4 weren't even up for the job." What an a-hole.

Saywer is going to follow Jack to the light, he's going to go in, become the new monster and he's going to be damned to the island just like the MIB.

last show, sawyer and jack sitting by the beach

and forever sawyer will try to kill jack bc he wants to get off the island

no one wanted a drawn out campfire scene.

if you ask me that campfire scene has been drawn out since "The Incident".

this episode was fast, but that doesnt mean it was rushed.

perfect pacing for this episode.

True, I just thought they would give that campfire scene a little more drama then they did, that's all I'm saying and people freak out. That scene was too important to be so quick.
no one's freaking out ab that but you, finally answers were given w/o dragging shite out they got right to the point

We got everything we needed to know. We know why Jacob picked them, why Kate was crossed off, and what the duty of the protector is. What else do we need?

Sawyer will not be a bad guy because that would go totally opposite of his character arc... He has gone from Mr. Tough Cuy who only cares for himself to a man who feels remorse for killing Sun and Jin, and finally realizing that there are bigger forces at work than just himself.

Sawyer will probably die heroically.

I guess it appears as freaking out when I got 10 people jumping on my opinion of it, guess I shouldn't feel the need to defend it. I really didn't it was a big statement anyways and 10 people responded.
