I'm going to be pissed having deal with the Kate, Jack, Sawyer love triangle again.

Ok here is the deal.
If you are dead BEFORE you come into the island's cone, you are resurrected.
If you recall, Locke's dad died in a car crash (per his own words) and "woke up" on the island.
Refer to HERE for my explanation of "why" Locke HAD to kill his father.

Nope, it is going to be a Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Juliet love parallelogram.

Someone help me with the timing. Locke is dead. His body will be discovered in a few days and then at the funeral parlor I assume not too long after that. My question is that he just saw Jack in the hospital and Jack was still practicing as a doctor. Wasn't Jack all drugged up and suspended when Locke died? Also hadn't Jack been flying all over the world in hope of crashing for a few months by the time that Locke died?

A few things this episode told me:
- Whidmore who has been made out to be the bad guy has been the good guy all along.
- Ben was definitely not supposed to go back to the island (aka the island does not want him back). If the island wanted him back he would have "flashed" to the island with the O6 and Locke. He crashed with the other members of that flight.
Also did anyone else notice that the other passengers appeared to be on the smaller island or was I not seeing that correctly?

i think the locke death drove him over the edge. didn't he have locke's obit in his hand when he was going to jump off the bridge?

Max,
Sorry, added this to my previous post after you responded - hadn't Jack been flying all over the world in hope of crashing for a few months by the time that Locke died?
Or am I off on this?

yeah i think so, which fits with how ben said he bought a ticket to sydney to fly right back

Ok I guess Jack in the hospital in this episode didn't give me the drug head feeling. He was clearly distraught(sp?) but I just attributed that to Locke being there, not the drugs.

To me, it looked like they were on the island of the Dharma zoo....
Locke was staring at the real island when the marshal chick was talking to him

Jack started flying around after Locke woke up in his hospital and told him he had to go back. Then the drugs started and then he found the obit. When Kate wouldn't go with him he was going to jump off the bridge.
The plane crashed on the smaller island with the Hydra station. The plane looked intact. Was there a partial runway there? We all know how great of a pilot Frank is.
Were the maps Cesar was looking at anything we haven't seen before?

Yeah. There is a runway on the other island.

They also said I think earlier that 'Jeremy came by a few months ago?' something like that.
The point being, they were trying to convey that some time had passed between Locke going to the hospital and his death. recall jacks beard.

If the island didn't want Ben back did it also not want Locke back since he didn't move with the rest of the O6?
I'd assume the O6 are on the island in the 70/80's with the rest of the Oceanic survivors. Locke, Ben, and 316 survivors are in present day.....likely on the other island. If we see a runway in a upcoming episode with the 316 folks then we'll know they are in different time periods.
I wonder if the pilot (Frank) went to the other island. They said one of the boats was gone...I wonder if he went over there?

That's what isn't lining up for me.

He didn't crash with the rest of them, but he didn't flash as far away as Kate, Jack and Hurley either. We assume they are on the main island.
The island put them all where it wanted them to be.

They did say the pilot and someone else took it. I'm sure that's where they went, now the question is why?
