I'm going to try to complete all the episodes by mid may before the finale so I will be up to speed.
I envy you. To be able to start fresh and watch this show straight through without the breaks and unexpected re-runs equals pure awesomeness.

Its kind of cool after watching season 6 to actually go back and see how it started. I love the Locke character so far. In my opinion the show might have failed without Terry O'Quinn. Outstanding job and his acting is head and shoulders above most of the other cast members.
The other folks I am interested in early on are Sayid, Jack, and Jin.
I'm ambivalent about Kate at this point. I hear a lot of people bashing her but I personally think she is just middle of the road at this point.
I think Charlie, Claire, Shannon, Michael just suck bad as characters at this point.
This is based on limited viewing of the characters up to midway through season 2 and all of season 6. I'm sure my opinions may change some.
I absolutely loved Desmond's intro at the beginning of season 2. I can see why everyone loves him.

Michael
This motherfricker is in the episode tomorrow... Maybe Hurley can throw dead guys off cliffs.

dammit man put up a spoiler alert. I had no idea that Michael is dead yet! I'm only through half way of season 2.
Just kidding. I figure he was probably dead since he in't really on the show anymore. What terrible acting by that guy who plays him. "WAAAAAAALT!" just gets old.

no way is Hurley worse than Claire, Kate, and Sum and Jin.
completely disagree...I know people hate on the others, however Hurley is the only person on the show that ever truly causes me to be aggravated when he does his "no no no" and then proceeds to run away. That being said there are actually quite a few times when he is awesome as well.

It's not a spoiler if it already happened.

I am betting the high rating comes from a libby appearance and nothing much else.
I think we're going to see a lot of people we haven't seen in a while...Libby, Michael and I'm sure several others. I think the flash-sideways should be interesting...I'm very curious how Hurley gets the lottery numbers.

Actually, I think this will be a really good episode where a lot happens. If you look, this is the last standard "character centric" episode of LOST. I think every remaining episode will have a special background; i.e. the episodes will either be
1) Multi-centric
2) Jacob/MIB centric or
3) Centered on a special character we have already had background on this season (maybe Jack).

Yeah, I seriously doubt he will win the lottery by playing the same numbers, since Leonard (The guy who heard the numbers originally) wouldn't have heard them if the Island was sunk, and Hurley wouldn't have either.

Yeah, Lenny heard them as did the French team (Rousseau replaced the island broadcast transmission tape with her own), and found out more about the numbers when Lenny sent him off to talk to another guy in the desert (forgot his name) who ended up being cursed by them as well. The numbers brought Rousseau to the island and she ends up pretty crazy too.

We still haven't seen anyone actually record the numbers transmission in the original timeline. I remember there being a theory last season that each number was spoken by a different Lostie...this might make more sense now that we know each number corresponds to a Lostie.

Yeah, that would be pretty interesting.

I wonder how many times these numbers have actually been used in lotteries around the country since they were revealed on the show.
Posted on 4/12/10 at 11:08 am to coachLSU
Yeah, if they ever hit, everyone will probably get like $4.

Just realized the guy who played "Goodwin" on Lost is the same actor that played Tim Riggins dad in the Friday Night Lights TV show.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of Lost characters in movies too. I know there are like 4 in ConAir (which I was watching yesterday) and maybe a couple from Shooter. Ana Lucia's mom is a sheriff. The guy who played Tom from the Others was in it. I can't remember the others I saw off the top of my head.

The woman Sawyer got pregnant, that he did all the cons with, is one of the main characters on Treme.

Tuck, I think I remember you saying you studied quantum physics as it relates to time. Have you ever looked in the concept of "sum over histories"? I saw it mentioned on a Lostpedia theory page and now it's got me in a tizzy.
