Exactly. Like Christian said (not exact, but close): "A place they created so they could all pass on together."
I'll never forget the feels when each one of them had their moments of recognition/memory in the flash sidewayses. Emotional television for sure.
Likewise. For me, it was and still is the greatest episode in television. I was so emotional during the viewing of "The End" that I was literally shivering with tearful eyes.

It was extremely emotional for me too. I've never had television affect me that way before. There was such a strong bond with those characters.

Because the actor who plays Eko is supposedly a gigantic dick and asked for 3 times the amount to come back for a cameo, and the creators just told him to frick himself.

I had no idea about this either, interesting. Kind of dumb to do that, but whatever...
Sorry, just now chiming in on this because I was a recent watcher and just finished this past week.
I was definitely a fun ride.
The flash forward/sideways was definitely my favorite part of the show.

I plan on rewatching it again at some point, but it was just as great when I rewatched it with my ex (who is now in the middle of her own rewatch). And actually, it might've even been a little better since we could rifle through them so fast that we didn't get caught up in overanalyzing little detail.

"Not Penny's Boat"
I forgot how awesome of a character Ben is. He steals the scene anytime he is shown. The episodes at the end of season 2 when they first capture him are probably my favorite of the series, but he is by far the best character of season 3 and the rest of the show IMO.
I remember how much "We have to go back!" threw me off the first time I watched the show. They did a fine job with the cliffhangers at the end of seasons

You guys were right, it is so much better on rewatch..I can enjoy it without asking so many questions or wondering what the hell is going on.
