Okay. New as in recently released. I thought new meant new.

Again….no one here knows what that means….for you. No one knows what you’ve already seen, what your interests are, what you have no desire to watch, etc. If you want quality recommendations then you should probably list the types of shows you are into which also provides context about what you’ve seen and haven’t seen. It’s not difficult

Children Ruin Everything on CW. It's a family comedy centered mainly on the parents. All the episodes can be seen on the CW app for free.

Did I not list that in the subject line? I literally listed each genre of interest. I can already see this was a mistake. Inquiring about movies on a movie board was too much to ask. Peace out.

I’m a huge movie guy but this board is crawling with angry shitheads and kinda sucks bc of it.

Have you seen the Jack Reachers ? Season 2 was just released and was good. Last of Us was very solid.

We stumbled upon a one-season series "Pine Gap" on Netflix.

It's about Americans and Australians in a remote intelligence facility, humping each other and spying on everybody else.

Was better than expected.

Two shows I'd never noticed on Prime before, but recently noticed and watched are

BOUNDLESS
quote:

237 men leave Spain with Ferdinand Magellan as their captain. They search for riches, personal glory and fame. Only 18 of them make it back alive, led by Juan Sebastián Elcano, a noble and charismatic character. Ahead of them are three years of mutinies, treacheries, hunger and death. A story full of adventures and emotions where two confronting characters fight for the same objective.

and

Jamestown
quote:

1619. On what feels like the edge of the world sits Jamestown, Virginia. For 12 years, it has been populated only by men, but the settlement is shaken up when the first women land in this wilderness. The disruptive new arrivals make an immediate impact and are thrust into a new world of love, desire, power, and survival.

Just got done watching the Outsider on HBO. Pretty solid. It's like a Steven King version of True Detective.

Thanks to the normal people here for the suggestions…I’ve seen a few of the shows mentioned, and some of the others seem very interesting and I will check them out.

I've spent the last 2 weeks binging Line of Duty. It's on Hulu, Prime and Britbox. Also on Hoopla if you have that. 6 seasons 6 episodes each.

"I Shouldn't Be Alive" fits the narrative.

You can watch the entire series in 5 days if you don't sleep.

Battlestar Galactica style.

The girlfriend and I started watching Night Sky on Prime. The episodes are an hour long but feel like 2 hours. It is a slow show but should have been up for Emmy's all over the board. It's been really good so far.

ETA: we also watched ABC Murders and Ordeal of Innocence which were both really good Agatha Cristie shows on Prime too. both were about 4.5 hours total and both solid.

Watched the trailer, was about to start then I saw this-

"Night Sky, a sci-fi series on Prime Video, was canceled after just one season due to low viewership, despite positive reviews and a unique concept."
