There were hints to the X-men accidentally being killed by Prof. X due to one of his seizures.

I thought the movie was good. So much darker than the others. Much less in the way of action and big fight scenes. It was tough to see what the world goes to and what ends up of the mutants. I've heard rumors of this being a parallel universe that happened back when Wolverine was doing time traveling so perhaps that will be explored. I don't know if that is ever mentioned in the comics as I never read them.

Great film. It was also good to see this Metairie Road establishment make an appearance on film.

Best Wolverine movie for sure but something really bugged me.

Prof. X's decision to stay with the family with the horses seemed extraordinarily selfish on his and Wolverine's part. When they were eating dinner all I could think of is how much danger Charles and Logan just put this family in. And sure enough, they all get murdered and not once was there any remorse or even acknowledgment of the responsibility.

Very unX-men type behavior.

Well Professor died. Only Logan and Laura survived. Laura knows nothing other than death and slaughter. Logan never dwells on anything. He may have felt bad but it's not in his character to lose any sleep over it

Just got done watching it. Definitely a different way to end the series. I loved the movie though. Surprised that that's the last we will see of Hugh and Wolverine.

Just got out of a late showing.

Holy shite what a movie. Couldn't really find a flaw in it. So well done. I almost wish Hugh could come back for one more but maybe he just can't pull off the physicality of the role anymore? Idk but I wish he would stay on as Logan but this was the perfect send off.

Hopefully they don't touch the Wolverine character for awhile. Let him rest for a decade and let other mutants shine.

I just saw it myself. I expected it to be great, but it exceeded my expectations. I thought they did a great job of showing that, though he is basically invulnerable and immortal, his violent/aggressive nature killed him in the end. Both the weaponization of his body/skeleton poisoning him and a literal clone of his aggressive nature killed him. And in the end he sacrificed himself to save Laura from that type of life. Just an amazing way to end this character.

yeah me too. just saw it earlier today. would've been epic had they cloned Sabretooth instead of Wolvie and let them have the final battle. but then Creed would've killed Logan, and you can't have that.

did the X-24 Wolvie clone remind anyone else of Wolvie's old black costume from the Madripoor / Patch days? particularly the black tank top.

I thought it was Sabretooth as well.

I also thought X-24 showed just how deadly and dangerous Wolverine used to be, an unstoppable killing machine

Wut?

It's been made clear even before this film which emphasized it: while he does what needs to be done without looking back, the accumulated baggage still haunts him.

Yes. That was literally the main point of the movie. And this baggage is what killed him. And his goal was to save Laura from the same fate.

Great fricking movie. There are times when comic movies need to be fun and colorful, but in Logan's case it works in it's dark world. I've been waiting 17 years to see Wolverine in action scenes like that. Great story and real emotions. Great send off for Jackman's Wolverine.

9/10.
