After Daniel beats Johnny and wins the tOrnament, the original script called for everyone to start chanting 'Karate Kid' 'Karate Kid' as he holds up the trophy.

also lets not forget the complete bullshite that was the KK video game for the original nintendo. shite was one of the hardest, most ridiculous video games ever.

I've always wondered how long they broke up before Daniel rolled in. Because her dad's comment at the country club thing ("Trouble with Johnny?" and the "love birds" thing) make it seem like they're pretty on-again-off-again.

also remember for the school dance set up scene, Johnny is helping blow up balloons and all smiles. Seems like a pretty good guy there.

Ali's "friends" had her back a little too much...especially this c-blocker...they were like her bodyguards...and they were "with Ali" at the dance instead of dates of their own. Hmm?
Why Ali broke up with Johnny is starting to make more sense now. She's experimenting. And Daniel is just effeminate enough.
