Well I am a paleontologist so I liked seeing all the Devonian sea creatures. I also love the scene with the wave running. If you know what I mean.

But all Miyazaki are amazing in their own right.

Pixar is better in RL

On this board, Miyazaki will probably win but honestly, I do not know a single person that wathced any of those Miyazaki movies.

I'd vote Pixar just because I haven't seen Miyazaki's entire collection.

What does this have to do with which films are better?

Spirited Away

I watched this years ago and I don't remember anything about it except for the No-face guy. I think I need to watch it again. I haven't seen any of the other Miyazaki movies though, so I don't think I could give an educated answer.

I was also thinking those two films would be commonly known through this board. People who have yet to see any of his filmography need to start, since he is the greatest animator who has ever lived (something basically everyone in the field and who has any real knowledge of the genre agrees with) and has simply fantastic films.

Ratatouille is one of my Favorite Pixar movies, and I thought Ponyo was one of Gibli's worst. You have to go into Gibli films with an open mind.

OMLandshark me and you agree on something.
