That would be Claude Rains

One of my top 5 favorite movies, even if Lawrence was totally into being sodomized by that ottoman dude.

First time I've ever noticed that Louie from Casablanca is in this movie.
General Allenby there in the middle is Quintus Arrius from Ben Hur., the Roman Hur saved.
He was also Major Warden in The Bridge Over the River Kwai.
He was in Zulu too.
That would be Jack Hawkins. IMDb
I grew up believing all British officers looked, and talked, like him.

I saw an original 70mm print on a huge screen at the Fox theatre 25 years ago. That was an awesome experience.
Same year I also saw a lot of other classic films in the theatre including one of the few remaining prints of Days of Heaven. The story was when Days of Thunder (Tom Cruise movie) finally left theatres the studio ordered a bunch of the excess film rolls to be destroyed. Some knucklehead making minimum wage in the warehouse saw "Days of..." on the cannisters and a brilliant display of cinematography was gone.

Fandango has an entire slate of "Classic" movies they're releasing in theaters
The events are really cool. They have like 15-20 min before the movies talking about them and production issues and other interesting stuff. Supposedly some of them will live broadcast a q&a with the actors, but I haven’t seen one of those yet.

I'll go (as it's my #1 movie of all-time) but only if they put it on one of the two large screens at my Cineplex.
Cinemark annoyingly puts Fathom events on the small screen which negates the point.
Unfortunately that's what my local theater is doing. Shame.
