Bruh, ain't no hard core fans forgetting about BBT and the nail in his thigh in S1, he is going to bring the wood sooner or later on the cartel mobster bro who currently mis-believes he has BBT by the sack.

I did. And he played the "old" lifeguard to Parker Stevenson's young lifeguard.

I was hoping the Pirate Dinner would have been similar to "Fishes" from the Bear.

Was sad we only got like 1 minute of the actual event when the episode title was literally "Pirate Dinner" - bait and switch

For the most part the women in the show are laughable but sometimes they are dead on. The part with Cami wanting to get into bed with the cartel is dead on accurate. Zero logic behind her decision. All emotion.

I think the Cami character has been ok so far, but I think they are going to turn her to try and make her be the power bitch going forward after that heated exchange with BBT. The problem is, they have shown she doesn't know what the hell is going on. And what has she done to act like she is such a badass other than being married to an oil executive?

The mexican chick is a really bad actor, and that whole arc is annoying. Maybe that's intentional....

Just like he was the old mentor bouncer to Swayze's Dalton.

Making the dork drive all the way to Corpus to ask her father for her hand in marriage...when she knows it's completely unnecessary.

If a woman makes you play those kind of games, you should run like hell.

Everyone is going to lose their minds when Dwight’s crew from Tulsa shows up and gets involved.

It’s awful. She sucks. She’s a total pain in the arse to him.

Some poor single mom Latina chick being all, You’re just going to have to figure me out and jump through my hoops!

Stupid. Nobody would do all that shite for some random dinner.

The show would be better without the annoying wife/daughter and their stupid scenes

Or least turn it down in frequency and intensity but they rarely add anything to the plot. One of Sheridan’s side shows he likes to work in there to eat time I guess.

Absolutely. Her character is a hit it and quit it type of girl. Those games are a no go for me

I am enjoying this show. But a lot of ya'll are right about some of the scenes. Cooper's relationship with the Latino chick is unnecessary, the poster who said that is 100% spot on. The Ali Larter and other blonde chick scenes, I find funny and the younger one is smoking, so I bear with it.

Complaining about the drives/time it takes and other oil field related "meh, that's not how it actually works".....is just a waste of time. All tv shows are like this. I mean, my favorite show, 24, didn't give shite about travel time and it didn't take away from the show.

especially for this show.
I live out here and all of these towns (minus Midland to Odessa) are all pretty far apart from each other.
the whole damn show would be just travel time if they kept that part accurate.

That, plus the gratuitous b-roll of roughnecks in the field working is his way of making a 45min episode out of 15 minutes of true storyline
