It's a great movie. One of the first blu rays I had bought back in the day because its visually stunning.

Also a reminder that Muslims will never stop trying to conquer Christians.

The history that made the Crusaders the bad guys?

I know about it I just think it’s factually incorrect and ignoring the entirety Islam’s behavior since then.

I won’t pretend that Christianity through most of the first millennium post AD isn’t filled with flaws and failures of unchristian behavior but it’s still
Leaps and bounds better than what most of the Muslim world did in that time.

Christians who for some reasons tie the Crusades to their identity as a Christian baffle me. These were wars of conquest and plunder that used religion as an excuse. They were no different from the Islamic conquests of Levant, Maghreb, and southern Europe.

This is bullshite. It's like saying Americans fighting in WWII in the Pacific was about raping and pillaging. No one is denying soldiers did terrible things, but that certainly wasn't the main point of the war. The crusades were a response to 500 years of Islamic aggression and oppression of Christians. Any denial of that point is to deny facts. Thank God for the crusades.
